Irisun Premium is a new generation of fabrics based on the innovative concept of super water repellency, making them extremely resistant to water penetration and the build-up of common dirt. Any dirt that accumulates can be removed with ease: water droplets do not adhere to the fibers or the fabric but retain their spherical shape, sliding off the surface and carrying dirt away. This effect is achieved by binding nanoparticles—measured on the micrometer scale (one millionth of a meter)—and water-repellent substances to the fiber through successive treatments.
